Bed Rest Buddy

Everyone talks about how much our lives will change when Eli comes. I completely agree that our lives will change but there is another life that will change. Parson's will get turned upside down. Parson is our 8 year old shi-tzu that we've had for 7 years. He does get treated better than most children and he is turning into a cranky old man and he's very set in his ways. The past couple of days I've been taking Parson's picture while I'm on bed rest to show everyone what he does all day long.
If the weather is nice the day starts out with Parson laying in front of the balcony door getting some vitamin D.

Parson has had this pink dog since he was born; it's like his security blanket.

Everytime I get up to go to the bathroom Parson moves to this spot. Apparently, my pillow is softer than his beloved pink dog.

This is the look I get when I make him move to the other end of the couch.

This is the look I get when Chris brings me lunch or dinner. Parson really thinks I'm going to give him some.

And finally, this is Parson's position most of the day.

We will never have to worry about Parson getting too excited, he's very relaxed all day long!
