Jesus Manifesto, by Leonard Sweet and Frank Viola

Jesus Manifesto: Restoring the Supremacy and Sovereignty of Jesus Christ, by Leonard Sweet and Frank Viola, is a book you will want to read more than once. The authors did an excellent job of capturing their readers in the very first chapter and making them stay through the end to truly restore Christ in our hearts and minds. This book is not a deep theological read; it is a smooth ride reminding the reader why they accepted Christ in the first place.

Simply put, this book is about Jesus. The beginning of the book to the end of the book is about Jesus. While reading you will be challenged to pick up your Bible and read the Gospels again to remind you of Jesus. In today’s Twitter, Facebook, and Starbucks filled days it is hard to remember why we are here and who we are here for. The authors of this book truly allowed God to use them to bring it all back.

If you are looking for a book to restore your relationship with Jesus, put your focus back on Jesus, remind you what He did for you, or illuminate the truths in your life—this is the book for you.
